ASP Global - Current
Good morning. We all up to anything out of the ordinary this weekend? Just house stuff. What about you? Where my father in law wants to make us new shutters for our house, which I'm not sad about one iota. And so we spent some time figuring that out with him. And so our brick is that like standard 1990s, like, red brick all over our house. So, like, there's very want to paint them because you don't make them with wood, obviously. Not necessarily want to paint them. We like the idea of doing raw wood, but brown colors on that, like red 1990s brick that was popular. It's hard to. Hard to find something that doesn't blend in, but also just isn't this, like, isn't black, basically. So we were working on shutters this week. Sorry not to change the topic. When I click on that homepage link you sent, this is all I see. Hold on. It might be a caching problem. One second. What is the URL in your address bar? What did I type in primoapps.wpenginepowered.com/. Oh. Oh, God. Okay. Type slash, homepage. I messed up the URL. Then I will go and make it the homepage. I just hadn't done that yet. What do you mean? Slash homepage? Yes. Got it. Okay. Hey, Parker. Good morning, guys. How's it going? Good. How are y'? All? Good. Today is a very important day. It is Bella's birthday. Happy birthday, Bella. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, Chris. Thank you, Parker. I'm really happy then that today we're also showing you the website because that's your website. That's your birthday present from us. Yay. There it is. We didn't wrap it, but I hope you'll forgive us. Oh, and purple is actually my favorite color. Me too. That's why I wore purple, because it's my favorite color and because I knew it was your favorite color. No, my obsession with purple is like kind of a running joke because literally, if I can add purple to anything. Oh, well. So we printed T shirts a long time ago, and I had all the colors printed out or picked out because one of our team members prints shirts on the side, and I had all the colors, and Don was looking them over like we had. We had a larger team as well back then too. So she was like, confirming all the colors, and she was like, I need one of them in purple. I was like, we don't. We're. We're getting buying these in mass. She's like, I need one in purple. And so we got one purple. Oh, man. But are you doing anything special other than joining us on this call today? Something more special than joining us on this call today? Well, I consider this call very important because everyone, I look forward to. Look. Look at the design that you guys have done. But for our dinner tonight, I'll just go out with my friend and then, yeah, have a little gathering at the restaurant. That's nice. And I hope you have a good birthday. Thank you. I'll transition so that you can start your birthday celebration as early as you want to today. So we have been working on development. I'm going to have Chris showcase a few of the pages. We got the content that you sent over, but there are some gaps just based off of what the design is and what content we got. So we're going to show you what we have, what we've imported, what we're still missing, and then we'll kind of come up with the best way to import the remainder to get from you the remaining content so that we can import it on your behalf. Chris, do you want to share your screen so that you can do the walkthrough? I think it'll be easier. Yes. That is the plan. Okay, so now what you're also going to see are, while I was in the process of developing, I took some of the blocks and I made a. I didn't make intentional changes to them, but when everything was getting coded out, I wanted to give a little bit more consistency on some things. And so I made a couple of logical changes. But there's also a couple things in here that are very much different that I need to still go back and edit. But I didn't feel like it's going to cause a problem with, like, showcasing. Like, this is what your website's going to look like coded out. And if you happen to like the way that it looks right right now, fantastic. If not, then I'm going to go back. I still have a couple of changes to make, but this shouldn't stop content writing at least. So let's go in, shall we? So the first one primarily is the hero section. The gradient on that isn't applied yet. And so whenever. This is the homepage. Correct? Oh, I'm sorry. Yeah, this is the homepage. So basically I tried to go as one to one to the homepage layout as possible here with all the different building blocks that we had. So for the homepage we had, this was the content that we had basically for the homepage. But on our homepage mockup, we Had a lot of different sections here. So now that this is in code, what I wanted to do was basically just what would be great is if you guys want to write content relative to the building blocks that we have on the page. Now if you want to, if you want to be like, let's actually slide this section up here and let's swap them over, that's also perfectly fine. So we have this here have a hero section, had the different stat blocks. We have the, the products built out as well. These are all things where you basically like check a box to be able to load these in. We have our value system here. The icons are one of the things that I changed. We had outlined icons before in the mock up, but given the like very solid structure of the new logo, I was like, I think we need solid icons to match up with the solid logo. So I did move these to solid icons here. I also made a lot of the border widths the same. There were some border widths that were one pixel, some that were two. And so I put made those consistent across the board as well. Here we have our testimonial slider as well. We have our section here where we have the, the drop shadow that's dynamically added different pieces have a little bit of an animation here on the primo logo. If that's not on brand then that's fine, we can remove it. But I like adding little subtle pieces of animation. We have our resources, AKA blog posts that will go here. We can hide this section before we launch if you don't have any content to put in there. And then we have our primary call to action at the bottom with our footer. And once we land on the exact pages, the footer links and all the footer links and the navigation bar links will be edited. So this is our homepage. But then I also. What I wanted to do was give you another layout to mess with. And so one of the sections you'd mentioned, the product category pages and so the co. The layout that you. And you also gave a link to one of the sample sites. I basically just took that content and plopped it in. Now I didn't spend time going and trying trying to find photos because more than likely the photos that I found would probably not be the right one. So I just used the stuff that I had already uploaded here. So whether this is a product name or a product category name, that's all fine. But we had the two column layout here, a couple of the feature sets and then kind of like the walk through like that sample site that you said or that you sent over. Here's kind of the walkthrough of like the information for each of those pieces. I also went ahead and put a. A feature checklist here as well too. They didn't have that, but I felt like that might be a good option to have on these pages. And then a primary call to action down here at the bottom. And this is what I'm leaning towards. There'll be a form over here on the right hand side, but kind of as like a footer call to action on a lot of pages using this kind of this light gradient that we're not really using anywhere else. Just to kind of make it stand out a little bit more because we're using dark all across. We're basically using white and dark all across the site. So I wanted to have an option to contain some content that just felt a little bit different. And that's kind of where this laid. And then lastly, the About Us page. We only had a couple. There's over here. Where was it? Why is my. Oh, my mouse died. Hold on one second. That's why I left them on the weekend. There. There it is. Okay, so it kind of had this story section here. I wasn't 100% sure what to do with this, so I kept it simple. I kind of kept a little section here for like, what is the starting of the story. I put in what you sent over. Perhaps more of like a team photo tile list of some different people, some of the values that we could bring over from the homepage as well too. And then a little bit about the story and then a final call at the bottom. So those are the core pages that have been created. They can be tweaked with any of the blocks that we have in the block library. But I wanted to give you a starting point to kind of jump from. To kind of fill in the gaps rather than staring at a white screen. Yeah, perfect. That. That is my. That is my soapbox for the morning. What do you all think? I like it. Bella, thoughts? Yeah, I like it too. I also like the rotating icon throughout the page. I was wondering for the home page, the very top header, like this purpose, is that the actual size where I'll be able to adjust, like make me make it a little bit wider. Taller, I think is what you mean taller. Taller, yeah. So I'm not going to get into. So I'm. I'll show you what I'm. I'll show you your answer right now. I'm not Going to get into all the weeds of how do you edit all these different things. While building this page, I recorded about a 45 minute video of how all the page was built. And so on this page, this is your hero section right here. And you have the ability to change it from narrow to tall to full height. And so if you change it to full height, it will go full height for you. Go refresh. And so now it. It covers the full. The full height. Now it's. There's a little bit of a scroll there. We have in the WordPress back end, whenever you're logged in, there's this black bar that goes at the top. And so it pushes everything down a little bit, but you would actually see it to about right there. So there'd be a little bit of a gap. And then you have the ability to change like the background color. You have the ability to change the background image, the background tinting. You can make it black, purple, whatever. Whatever colors are in that palette, you can make it to that palette. And then you can also change the text. This is all. This is all editable text. However you wanted to do it. Nice. So very pretty flexible overall. Okay, great. Have you guys done like a. The product pages yet? No, not yet. So this was the starting point of the product page. And then we have. So we have your continuing education here. Is there a. And you have the category pages. Do you have a single product page that we can pull the layout from that you have that you would have an idea for? You mean like one. That one that we like? Yeah, I could find one. Okay. I mean, obviously you can see like what's on the ASP or Primo website now, how we have those listed which are just like bare bones. Also, I want to say something really quick. I have no idea. Can you see the address bar on my screen? Yeah. Yeah. I have no idea why, but I have a mental block about asp. Don will attest to this. I call it APS all the time. I. I don't know why. If you ever see anything that says aps, it's my fault. My brain just. It doesn't. It doesn't compute. And I don't. I don't know why. I'm not that dumb, but apparently my brain. I just. I can't. I just can't. Anyway, I just wanted to call that out because I've realized that a few times now and Don's appropriately chastise me on multiple occasions. And I just. I just. Anyway, that's that a very memorable brand name to begin with. I mean, you're not. That's why you add the word global to it. Yeah, there you go. Makes it better, right? It makes it special. You know, funny enough, we're not a global company either. What is the, what is the, what is the domain name for Prima right. Now inc.net. There we go. Okay, What I can do, what we'll do is,. Okay,. Trying to think of how we want to make this as as simple as possible to load in for everybody. Parker, are those sections on each product page the section we want? Is there anything we need to add besides the current one? I was just thinking maybe something else that we would want to have is and we can just build blocks for this I think would be like if they were putting basically everything into two categories. Right. It's either going to be pressure injury prevention or safe patient handling. We could like summarize the value to the customer for both of those concepts, basically. So like a one block version of the category page and maybe include that for the relevant products. Like if it's a pressure injury prevention product, maybe have like a block that says like the, you know, x percent of this and that and the other and blah, blah, blah. That could be one way I could think to spice them up a little bit without too much effort. So this is what I'm gonna, this is what I'm gonna do. What I'm going to do is I'm going to. These product pages are going to be drag and droppable building blocks at the end of the day. So with that said, and nothing is going to be. When I say templatized, what I mean by that is nothing is going to be editable globally. So that if you want to change layouts of individual pages, you have basically full control to do that. The pro and the con. The pro of that is everything is editable. You do whatever the heck you want to with it. The con of that is I'm going to run this through a kind of like a mass importing process, basically be able to strip, basically grab all the content from these pages, grab the image from the pages and then apply like a basic layout to it with some building blocks. So the downside is if you want to make changes to them in mass, you would have to change them one by one. But, but that also allows you to then go. And if there's a key product that you want to start focusing on, you could go in and change that layout however you want to and make it more of a sales page and less of a product. Detail page, like E commerce, basically. So that's my thinking. And that way if there are blocks that you want to add page by page, you can then do that. But this allows you at least to get launched with content quickly and easily. And then making those changes could be a decision that's made a little bit later. Does that sound good? Yeah, that sounds good. Can you go back to the wound and injury prevention breadcrumb there? Some of these we're not going to want on the primo site anymore. Like for example, like the elbow pads and multi purpose pads. So do you want me to get you a list of which ones we want to keep and which ones we don't? Yes, that would be fantastic. And what would even be. So what would be the. The best would be thinking in like a Google Doc form the. The category name as like a header and then the URLs of the individual ones that you want. So like if this is one that you wanted, copy and grab this URL copy, paste it under there. Because honestly, what, what I'm going to do is I did this earlier with another client site is I'm basically going to toss. I'm going to create like a core page structure for within WordPress. I'm going to toss AI at your website with these list of URLs and the category names and basically have it go and grab all the images and grab all the content, put it into the format that I want it to be put into and then inject it into the site. And so if I have those direct URLs, there will be no question that we got the right ones in there. Okay, Bella, I've got an action item for you. Okay. I need you to help us with this. So you're going to have two categories. One is going to be safe patient handling and the other is going to be pressure injury prevention. I need you to go through with Nick through this page right here and assign each one to one of those two categories and include a link to that category for each one and then put that in a Google Doc. Yep. That worked for you guys? Yeah, I added Bella to. There's a website content Google sheet that I'll reshare that has testimonials also in it. So I just created a tab for products. I wrote down some words that I don't think are going to be right. So you can edit the field, but we already have access to it. So I'll just make sure you have that link. Perfect, thank you. Awesome. And then for the product category pages I realized that the title of this is a single product for the category pages. If you want to utilize this core structure for those other categories, I just need to know what the content for those are. And then what images do you want kind of in these, like, we'll call them, like, tutorial processes. Yeah, there will. Go ahead. No, no, that. That was all. That was all. There will only be, in my mind, two of these. So there will be the. Yeah, the one. The two that I just said. So I'll go through and. And just format in what I want in here. They're probably. There's not going to be probably as much content as you have here in this one, but that's obvious. Yeah, that's fine. I tend to prefer to put more. It's always, at least for me, when I'm thinking about content. It's easier for me to be able to see a long list of like a long template and then remove things than it is to have a minimal template and then try to mentally add things. Yeah. So if there is a. Like, if you're on the home page, like, if you're on this page, you're like, man, I really want another. Like, we don't really need this. We basically just need another one of these, like, two column blocks and just put below the. The tutorial section. Just tell me. And that's fine. So. And that. That can definitely happen. Perfect. And then I can make judgment if you have idea, like the. The icon library that we have that we added in. We. I went for expansiveness more than copy and paste. E. So there's a. Man, my keyboard's about to die too. Man, all my. All my stuff is about to die. I gotta charge things. Let me unplug this in. There we go. And this is in the tutorial video as well. So please don't. You don't have to waste brain space with this at the moment. But we subscribe to something called Font Awesome. And you can search for basically whatever icon you want. So if it's like we need a hospital, you have hospitals here. And there's a particular, Particular subset that we're using on your website again that I also mentioned in the video. And then you would just grab this little. This little wood, this little code and copy and paste it. So rather than have giving you like a library of like 15 that are curated all right there, I figured why not give you all of the things. So we get access through. Through you guys to this. Yep, exactly. Yeah. Cool. It's all downloaded and installed the whole Library. This particular library of classic and solid is all on the site. And I think there's like a thousand icons in total. And so, yeah, there's a ton. So, yeah, you have. You'll have access to all of those. This will be the easiest way to filter them. We tried building something in house that kind of filters for you, but it's. We did it before and it. This is a lot simpler at the end of the day because they have all of it built out. So anyway, we'll find associated icons. Right. You don't have to worry about that right now, but at least want to kind of plant that in the back of your head of, like where these icons come from. That's. That's where that is. So sweet. Awesome. Okay, question. Our CEO wants an update on Wednesday. For this. He doesn't need much. You know, ideally we're just kind of breezing through the home page or whatever. If. If we can't turn these couple things around by then, that's totally fine. But do you think we could change out the words on the homepage to match the content that I wrote and maybe apply the gradient and add a couple of the product pictures? I know we're going to want. Just so he can just like literally look at these three sections. So we have. So the content that we have for the homepage is basically. This is all the. This is all the header stuff. So do you have a preferred Hero image that you could send us? Yeah, we can. I can send you one. Okay, so. And then these two things are basically just the. What they will be are these pods. So what. Say that again. So these right here. So the homepage, the first thing they're saying after the. Here are the two product categories stories, which are these two things that we were talking about before. And my assumption is we'll use basically this style for those. Put those up there at the top. But what else do you want down here? I think the filler content for now is fine. Oh, okay, cool. So you basically just want those first two sections? Yeah, pretty much. Oh, got it. Okay, cool. I was about to say, because we don't have the, the rest of this content here. We don't have that yet. That. Yeah, I, I just think as long as we have a Hero image that I think we're good with, I, I think I agree. Adding the gradient here would be good. And then for the. Having the two categories we play in there, even just. That would be good enough, I think just so he can see the new copy and the new. Just like see how we're talking about the categories. That's really all I need him to see at this point. Gotcha. What. What images would you like to use for this one and these two categories? So get the main and then we'll have. I have the. I have the website pulled up if this helps. We have some new photography that's not on the website, so I'm probably going to do something that you don't have yet. But I'm just making a note, so let us send you those today. Okay. So we'll do main hero image, image associated with pressure, injury prevention and safe patient handling or eliminate risky movements. That should be easy enough. Awesome. That all sounds good. Cool. Yeah. If you can get those sent over, when are you meeting with them? Wednesday. Perfect. And what would be the easiest way to actually show it? So there is. Is at a URL that has the wrong. Has the wrong acronym here. So you would be able to go to this URL, but if you would rather not pull it up in a browser, you could always just take a screenshot of it. Yeah, I think I'll probably just put a couple screenshots in. Yeah. So that would be the. I would just go to the URL and copy and take some screenshots and then be good to go. Yeah, yeah. I don't want to give too much. People want to start scrolling around asking too many questions wholeheartedly. Understand that. Yeah, yeah. Give as little information as possible to keep. Keep things moving forward. That's my strategy. Yes. Okay, perfect. This looks really good. Thank you, guys. Bella, I added the. Sorry. I added a couple of tasks for you that you can upload the image to straight into Asana. And then you also have the task for. For the products as well with the links. Great. Thank you. Thank you. Wonderful. Well, that sounds good. Well, we'll get that stuff knocked out. Send over the images. We'll get it all knocked out in one fell swoop. My. I would. It'll be done by Tuesday because I go out of town early Wednesday morning. So that will be the plan. Sweet. That sounds good. I'll. I'll get to work writing and sending more images and all the. All the other good stuff. Yes. And then Don will also send over the URLs as well to the different page layouts that we have here. And so when I get back, if we have all the content for those five pages and the list of the URLs for all the products in their own categories, we can go ahead and get all of that stuff. Done within the next few days when I get back, and then you'll basically be ready to go and launch. So does that sound good? Yeah, sounds wonderful. Fantastic. Easy peasy. Thank you, guys. I appreciate it. All right, guys,. Bye.
