ASP Global - Current
Hi. Good morning. Dawn, Chris. What's up, guys? Not too much. I had to do that thing where I got logged out because it was a Friday, so I had to log back in on a Monday. Nice. All of my Google stuff, I was like, no, we won't let you into the meeting on time. No. I apologize for being so MIA Last week. I ended up at a conference that I did not expect to go to and all sorts of other stuff. So apologies, and thank you for the patience. I just want you to say, when you say I ended up at a conference I wasn't expecting to go to and all this other stuff happened, I start envisioning hangover. I'm like, oh, you ended up in Las Vegas. I just couldn't account for any of the content. And I'm like, close. It was New Orleans. I'm not too far off. That makes sense. I have a note taker asking to come in. Let me see if I can figure out how to do that. Okay. All right, everybody. Now that the note takers here, we should probably get back on track since it's going to monitor our progress and efficiency. So what we are talking about today is content and making sure we have everything. And finding my agenda will be the first thing that we discuss on today's call, which is. Right. I'm sorry. I mean, I don't even have an excuse. I wasn't at a conference in New Orleans last week. I was in Georgia. My children on spring break. All right, Just wanted to give you a quick update on kind of where we are on development and then what we still need from you. Parker, it was actually a great week for you to be out because Chris was, like, down for the count. So last week, I'm still. I don't get sick often. I'm still not feeling great, and I don't stay sick for a week plus, so. Oh, man. Yeah, I. I died a little bit. Oh. So. I hate to hear that. Yeah. So we're both good. We're both good. So we're all. We're all playing a little bit of catch up. I will review the missing. We'll review the content you sent over on Friday and get. Make sure those pages are built out with that. And then, Bella, I know we were planning on last week sending you over the marker link and everything. I think only the homepage was the page you could access with that link. So we'll just work with what we have today and tomorrow, and then I'll plan to send you updated links and everything on Wednesday. So that you can continue to monitor what we're still missing. Chris, is there anything else to add for that? No. We also have all the product stuff that you sent over in the Excel document, and so we can get that automatically imported. Those will all be building blocks at the end of the day. So if you would like to go through and update, like, layouts and things on a product page, you definitely can. But for launch, you at least have kind of the default product stuff that's there. And so that is something that can be scripted. And then I'll work with Don on getting the other pages of content that, that you guys sent over pushed in. And then Don will, like, when we send that over for marker, Don will kind of walk through, like, this is how you want to, like, give feedback. If there's content updates or image updates or layout updates, this is how to do it. And then we'll go through kind of in one fell pass and just make all of those updates. And then for the most part, be good to go. Not trying to be overly ambitious on the LA on, you know, a potential lack of QA and edits and whatnot, but historically, we've been pretty much in alignment since day one. So my assumption is we'll get all the content in. You've kind of seen all the building blocks and design. It's going to be very similar. So I think mostly changes are going to be around content and imagery, if I had to guess. And then we should be able to launch shortly thereafter. Sweet. Great. Thank you. So I think what I'm going to. I'm going to say this aggressively, and then you guys can tell me if I'm being too aggressive. So we'll work on getting the site to you on Wednesday. If you can get all of your content in QA notes to us by Friday, we'll work through that next week. So we'll touch base next Monday, kind of make sure we have everything from you. Then we'll get all of the content and the QA completed maybe by Wednesday. We'll give it to you guys for approval next Wednesday, Thursday. And then we'll hope to push the website. This website version live in about two weeks. Does that track on your end? Yeah. Yeah. Okay, great. And then from there, we'll move to asp. Is there anything we need to do ahead of. Is there anything that can be done ahead of time for ASP while we're doing our QA and we're doing our content import? That'll get that site moving on your end. Let me think about that the challenge with the ASP site is some somewhat. The value prop for that business segment is going to need to be like realigned on like all the way up to the CEO. So I'm gonna have to like pitch that. That would really be the big hang up. But I mean, the like in terms of like product pages and stuff, I think. I mean, I don't know if that is like a thing that you could start with, but yeah, I mean, same as Primo. We'll want to basically just migrate over all those product pages and there's a way more and same for like blog posts and stuff. So yeah, the more stuff like that you can send over. Sorry, Chris. You're good. Yeah, I said the more stuff like that you can send over ahead of time. That'll give us a window where we can kind of test and make sure we're not missing anything and don't need anything from your team. I did have one question. When you say the value prop to your CEO, is he not on board with the new site for that or is he just. No, no, it's more like how like today ASP is like a global, like manufacturing sourcing company is how it's pitched on the website. But we're trying to get away from that and talk about just being like a products company. It's more just like how we talk about ourselves. So that way more than the value of the company. Is that right? Yeah. Cool. Okay. That makes me feel better. I was like, oh, no. Are we going to have to like, tell him why he should do this? Everybody needs a website, sir. Starting over from scratch here. Yeah. Yeah, all right. Yeah, I can do that for sure. Cool. Yeah. The more we can get ahead of time, I just want to make sure that we can because. Because we are slightly delayed on the Primo site where we wanted to be just because of schedules and getting stuff imported. I want to make sure that we can then just immediately flip over and get that site rolling for you. Do you guys think that we will have. A live site to show by May 1, which is next Friday? Does that depend on. On me or does that depend on you guys or. I mean, it's not like if we don't. It's not the end of the world. I'm not. I'm not going to commit. Number two things. Thing number one is I don't think we'll have everything ready for you and approval by next Thursday. If we do, then I'll say a hard maybe, but I would really like. I like to Commit to starting on Mondays for approvals. And so it gives Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, that if something goes live, we have a few days to fix it before you actually show it to anybody. If something goes live on a Thursday, we can fix it on a Friday. But if you're trying to show it off on a Friday, I'm a little like, no, thank you. Yeah, yeah, that's fine. I'm just trying to set some expectations for the team. If we could hit May 1st. That's wonderful. If it needs to be into the following week. Yeah, let's plan like a Cinco de Mayo party where you guys show off the new website and eat guac. Like, I think that would be the way to go. Yes. Yeah. Or may the fourth be with you. Whatever. Whatever your team is into. Star Wars, Mexican food. I'll let you. You come up with the theme. Yeah, that's perfect. We'll just. Yeah, that sounds good. Great. Yeah. The only thing we definitely can't hit is Mother's Day, but just make sure you call your moms and tell her that the site will be launching that week. I think that was all I have on my list. Did y' all have anything else you wanted to discuss today? I just wanted to. I mean, is there anything that you guys need from me content wise on the primo site for now, or are we covered until you guys have some of those other pages built out? Yeah, I think we're in a good spot at the moment. I'm sure there will be gaps. There always are gaps. Like when you're writing in a Word document versus onto a website, there's always going to be some missing pieces. And so the next best step is for us to just take everything that you sent in over, like Thursday, Friday. Let's get all that pushed in this week or the next couple of days, and then wherever the gaps are, fill those in rather than trying to figure out where those are now. So, yeah, we should. We should be at a pretty. We should be at a pretty decent place. So, Bella, one thing that we do need to do that I did not give them yet is actually choose the images we want for the spots that are on there. Like, there are placeholder images everywhere that are great, but we need to go and make sure that we have what we want. So maybe we can do that in our one on one this week. Yep. When's the one on one? Just so I can make sure. If it's Wednesday, that would be awesome. Okay, we'll try to get you the site then tomorrow. Bella. Did you watch my loom tutorial about how to upload images and everything on how to add content with marker? Well, I showed it to Parker for the marker, too, but we have already marked on everything. That's fine. My, my. My only reason for asking is if you guys are going to do images, the easiest way for you to do images is using marker, so you can point to it and then upload the image and say, this is the image that's going to go here. Okay. Yeah. You guys got all my. My marker feedback, right? I am not gonna lie. I have been in a sonnet today, but if it wasn't assigned, I haven't had a chance to review it, so give me a minute. Chris, unless you're in right now, marker,. Request new copy for. Yes, I do see about, like, about 10. There's about 10 of them, give or take, I think. Yeah, yeah, I see them now. Okay. Just making sure. Yeah, Perfect copy for the second slide. Okay, great. Perfect. Okay, this is. I'm moving it, Chris. I'm sorry. I need to have it closer to the words QA for my brain to function. All right, cool. Yes, we have all of this, and we'll get those added as well, in addition to the other content. Yeah. Thank you. Awesome. All right, well, if there's nothing else or if you think of anything else, you have my email and I'll send a recap and we'll all get on the same page and hopefully have a new site soon. All right, wonderful. Well, I blocked out a lot of time this week to work on this, so, you know, anything that you guys, if you finish something earlier or whatever and need feedback sooner, just send it to me live. And that. That works for me, too. So, yeah, I appreciate the help, guys. Thank you. All right, see you all later. Bye. Don, do you want to.
