Dawn Audano: Hey.
Chris LaFay: Hello.
Starlie: How's it going?
Chris LaFay: We went to Memphis to visit with Ally's family this weekend. I got to drive back eight hours in the rain yesterday, and then my dog woke me up halfway through the night. So I'm on, like, so little sleep at the moment.
Dawn Audano: You ready to do this, Calden?
Chris LaFay: I. Yes.
Dawn Audano: I'm gonna let everyone in.
Starlie: Hey, everybody.
Dawn Audano: Good morning. How's it going?
Matt Westhoff: Good, thank you.
Dawn Audano: Hey, Chris, do you know if Andrew's joining today?
Chris LaFay: He should be okay.
Dawn Audano: Well, then we'll give him a minute. Make sure
Chris LaFay: a lot on Mondays.
Dawn Audano: So I know Tom won't be joining us today. So the two items that I will discuss once Andrew gets on the call are the import with the product import bug that we ran into last week. Kind of where we stand with fixing this. And then also just talking through E Commerce check in. I think we're waiting on a reply on where we're going to deploy the E Commerce first. Josh, I think you asked Tom last week on that. I don't know if you got an answer or if we're just going to also wait until the product import bug is fixed before we surely do anything. And Josh, you're muted in case you are answering. Hello?
Chris LaFay: I see that you're unmuted, but I can't hear anything. Audio is not coming through.
Dawn Audano: Well, Josh, maybe you can fix his audio and we'll still wait for a new computer. Oh, no, you might have to. I guess you might have to restart Chrome sometimes. It likes you to do that. But yay on getting a new computer. That's always an exciting day.
Chris LaFay: Andrew is in the process of coming. He had a quick development task. He had to put a fire out really quick this morning, so he should be here in a couple of minutes.
Dawn Audano: Great. Starlee, how are you? Any updates on the grandbabies? I always love your weekend stories with your grandchildren.
Starlie: Baby boy is growing super fast. I haven't seen him in a week because I went camping this weekend again, but he's growing. Good get. I get pictures daily.
Dawn Audano: Nice. I. I give my. I have two children and my dad asks for some pictures of them, but he also wants pictures of my cat, which I think is really funny. He's like your cat today. I think it's because my cat is his spirit animal. I think he just likes being like, oh, cool. Somebody else likes to lay in the sun just like me because he's retired.
Starlie: Okay, that's funny.
Andrew Booth: Oh, my gosh.
Dawn Audano: All right, Josh, how's your audio?
Starlie: Oh, drumroll. Oh, that's muted.
Dawn Audano: You Were unmuted and now you're muted.
Chris LaFay: So close.
Andrew Booth: Try that one.
Dawn Audano: That works. Great. The question I had asked, I don't even know if we have an answer to it is do you know if we're deploying E commerce on both sites to start or if we're just doing pro Comp first once we get everything working?
Josh Kellner: It would probably be pro Comp first, just to make sure no fraud, at least to start with and then that they can do their job in the back end for SAP.
Dawn Audano: Okay, cool. So we'll plan to get that up and running this week. How long before you want us to test Smittybilt? Once probe comp set.
Josh Kellner: I mean, as soon as they say that everything's looking good and for the most part they're seeing reconciliation happen correctly or in the right account. So then we can turn it on. It might be, you know, couple days, might be a week or so right afterwards.
Dawn Audano: Okay. I know Tom's itching to get it back on Smitty belt, so I just want to make sure that we're following a timeline that works both internally and with Tom's desires as well. Hey, Andrew, now is your audio not working?
Chris LaFay: We're having great luck today.
Starlie: Test, test, test, test, test.
Dawn Audano: You're working. Okay, cool. So, Andrew, the two things I had on my agenda today were to discuss the E Commerce, like what deployment will look like. I think the last email that we had was a question as to where we're going to start. Josh just confirmed we're going to start on just the Pro Comp site. Once we get everything ready, we'll test that for a few days up to a week and then we'll deploy on Smittybilt as well. Does that track with what you're thinking we should do?
Andrew Booth: I mean, yeah, ultimately it's up to them, obviously, which one we start with. Think as far as kind of what we saw from a historical standpoint of both sales data and just the level of fraud and the types of fraud, I think probably pro comp's the better one to start with.
Starlie: Yep.
Andrew Booth: Couple reasons from a fraud standpoint is the Pro Comp site definitely saw more unique patterns on the fraud attempts versus this mini built site did. So I think that would give us, you know, assuming the people that were doing it continue trying to do it, that'll give us a more likely scenario of what could potentially look like as far as traffic hitting the site. So yeah, I think that's fine.
Dawn Audano: Great. And then the other thing I wanted to make sure we Discussed today is the product import bug. If you can just kind of get everybody up to speed on what we saw and then what we're working on and where things stand now, that would be great.
Andrew Booth: Yeah, I definitely want to talk through this one. We did the product import on Monday and then obviously we were working on it again on Thursday. On Monday the product import worked flawlessly like it always does, no issues. Then between Monday and Thursday we didn't make any changes. Code wise, I don't think it's anything related to code on the site. Thursday, obviously we ran it and it worked on Pro Comp without issue. But on Smittybilt, that's where we're having issues with it. What we're seeing is the way the import process works is it obviously grabs the Excel file that y' all upload and then does some comparisons once that's in to check against API that's built. When it's doing the import on the CSV, what I'm seeing in the data is it's marking all the products as draft status. And the reason why it marks them as draft status is because it doesn't find a match in the product import to the product that is actually already on the site. And it's comparing against part number.
Matt Westhoff: And
Andrew Booth: what I'm seeing is, is something with the data is not matching up and I haven't figured out what it is yet, but it's just, it's not finding the product. So it's saying, okay, these products that are already on the website don't exist in the data that's trying to come in. So let's take them off of the website because they theoretically don't exist anymore. That's essentially like the layman's terms explanation of what's happening. So to buy us some time, obviously, so we could get to this call and kind of talk about it, to see, you know, from your side from a data perspective what it looks like. I just went ahead and manually marked the products back as published on the site so that they would be live. I think there was like maybe 30 or 35 products that theoretically are live, that probably aren't accounted for in the spreadsheet. Just looking at like numbers of products in the spreadsheet versus number of products on the website. So that's the one downside to what we have right now is there's probably like 35 products or so that might be like out of stock or not continue or not carried anymore that might currently be visible. So now that you kind of understand where we're at and what we're looking at. From your side, is there anything like data wise that might have changed between Monday and Thursday with any of the data either in the file or the API poll or anything like that? The all might should like point me in a direction to look at instead of and the reason I asked this is I don't want to burn a ton of hours looking for a needle in a haystack. If y' all can potentially point me in a direction that would save time, so can you.
Matt Westhoff: I mean as far as I know there hasn't been but I don't think I asked that question specifically with our data team. So if you could, can you send me an email asking what I should ask or try to find out that will help you? I mean I know you just said a bunch of stuff, but to be honest, I probably won't say it right now without a follow up email.
Andrew Booth: Yeah, absolutely. I can definitely follow up this call with an email like outlining the specifics of pretty much everything I just said, but probably a little bit more summarized version and then obviously ask the question of like has anything changed or been adapted or manipulated or whatever to give us at least a better starting point so we're not, you know, killing hours for something that should be really simple.
Matt Westhoff: Agree? Yeah, for sure.
Andrew Booth: Cool. Okay. Yep, I can definitely do that. I think once we get that figured out, the process should just start working again because does work on Pro compusa. I do see the import working. It does essentially say that it's like skipping it because the product doesn't exist. So once we figure out whatever it is, it should just be okay, cool, make a change and then run the process again and everything should be fine.
Matt Westhoff: Okay,
Andrew Booth: cool. Okay. I will follow up with an email after this then.
Matt Westhoff: Thanks Andrew.
Andrew Booth: Absolutely.
Dawn Audano: Great. That was the other thing I have on our agenda is to review our Semrush report. That's just something that's on our list. But since the imports ran into issues last week, we kind of bumped that out so that we had make sure we have hours to handle the E commerce and product imports. Is there anything else that is on your team's agenda that we should also focus on the next couple of weeks or are those just our two guiding lights for the moment?
Matt Westhoff: Yeah, I wouldn't say. I mean I don't know if Josh has anything but I mean Tom hasn't mentioned any. Anything else? I can't think of anything else as you know, we just want to get it up and running. More than anything. So I would say no.
Andrew Booth: Okay.
Dawn Audano: Josh, do you have any.
Matt Westhoff: Nope.
Josh Kellner: Nothing for me.
Starlie: Okay, that sounds good.
Dawn Audano: So, to follow up, Andrew will send Matt an email with the questions that need to be asked of the data team so that we can get in the right direction. Once we get that working, we will, actually, since that's only on Smittybilt. Andrew, can we restart Ecom on Pro Comp today?
Andrew Booth: Yeah, if the TAP team is ready for it.
Dawn Audano: You ready for it? All in favor say aye.
Josh Kellner: Not until we get to go ahead from.
Dawn Audano: Okay.
Josh Kellner: From the accounting, just to make sure.
Dawn Audano: All right, so you'll let us know when the accounting is good, and then we'll get it started. We can. We'll restart on Pro Comp and then test it for a couple of days and then restart on Smittybilt once we have confirmed there's no issues. So, Josh, I'll just look out for that email from you to. To make sure that we're good to go. I know. I feel like I'm getting conflicting data or conflicting information between what Tom wants to do and what we're actually ready to do. So just let me know when we're ready, and we'll plan to turn it on on Pro Comp.
Josh Kellner: All right, sounds good.
Dawn Audano: All right, thank you. Well, thanks, everybody. I'll talk to you guys via email or in a couple weeks. Thanks.
Andrew Booth: Sounds good.
Josh Kellner: Thank you.
Chris LaFay: Bye.
