Chris LaFay: That's. Good afternoon.

Jared Belsky: Hey, Chris. Good afternoon to you. There's actually going to be a guest joining very shortly.

Chris LaFay: Hi. Hey. Hello.

Jared Belsky: That's fine. You can't stand Alice. Okay.

Chris LaFay: I have a second chair.

Jared Belsky: We are a family on the move right now. We're actually down in. Down in Florida, so.

Chris LaFay: Oh, very nice.

Jared Belsky: Excellent, excellent. It's pretty good. Thanks for making the time though. We, We. You said. Tried to send you all the different things and. Yeah, I think between all the subscriptions for last time and what we sent, we should be in decent shape.

Chris LaFay: Yes. So I have your. I was going through all of the usernames and passwords just now. You may have just gotten a text from GoDaddy. Because I was just testing to make sure that I have access to everything.

Jared Belsky: Oh, I did.

Chris LaFay: Yes, you did. Fantastic. Actually, you know what? Go ahead and see. I go and send it over. What is it?

Jared Belsky: Okay, Tell it to you verbally.

Chris LaFay: Yeah, that's fine. Yeah.

Jared Belsky: 331-0872.

Chris LaFay: Voila. Okay, perfect. That sounds good. Awesome. So I have your. I have your GoDaddy access. I have your. Going to log into Web Flow right now because Web Flow was the thing we were having problems with, with your whole email connection thing. But we have. I have access to that. So we have. We're good there. I have access to the review thing. So basically all we're going to do at this point. So last week, earlier this week, the plan was basically just go ahead and take everything live, but we paused that since we had this meeting today. So we have. I have everything we need to do the rest of the launch. Okay. And we're going to adjust the hero section to make it a little bit more narrow and then add those two filters and then we'll move the side

Jared Belsky: to make it narrow so that examples show up at the bottom fields. Exactly.

Chris LaFay: Yep, exactly. And so we'll take everything live and then we'll. Andy, the developer will shoot some training videos for you on how to add fields, how to add blog posts, etc. Etc. How to edit the email template stuff. Along those lines, we'll add. We'll add the email template into there as well too. We'll do all of that in one fell swoop and then be able to say, take it, take it for a ride, let us know there's any issues and then you'll be good to go.

Jared Belsky: And what about. I don't remember, do we do a review section or. Not yet.

Chris LaFay: So yeah, there are reviews and the reviews are tied to the individual parks. So within each, within. Within each park, somebody can leave a review. That was one of the. One of the subscriptions, Jared, that you paid for last time we checked that.

Jared Belsky: Chris, to Alex's question, in the beginning, when there's obviously not going to be a ton of activity, are we able to go in and leave a review? You know, not anonymous. Not anonymously, but. Could Alex start a Gmail account named Soccer Girl? Yeah, okay, sure.

Chris LaFay: Why not?

Jared Belsky: Yeah. What's my email? So like, are you able to put my email in the. The. What's it called?

Chris LaFay: Yeah, the contact forms.

Jared Belsky: Yeah. Do you mind if I. So I know what. When you and I registered Gmail, remember there was Fields Girl at Fieldfinder AI. And then we did. I went in, I went and looked in the admin. I think we did one more. It was info. Wait, info or sales? But here's what's funny, right?

Chris LaFay: I don't think I have access to your. I don't think I have access to Google workspace. But we did set that up together when we met last time. So. Yeah, I think you did. Two email addresses.

Jared Belsky: Chris, can I just do my screen share and show you something? Because this is the weird thing because yeah, we were having trouble. If I can just use your tutelage, help me navigate really fast to the admin screen.

Chris LaFay: Do I.

Jared Belsky: Is that settings go to.

Chris LaFay: So click on the. The square. The square. The. The Tic Tac toe board.

Jared Belsky: Yep.

Chris LaFay: And then I think it's Admin. That middle one on the top. They move this around all the time. I can give you the.

Jared Belsky: I have a code. Go ahead. How do you change Fields Girl, though? Like I don't want. Ask Chris for a minute. Do you know how to change the name of it? Like something more like professional.

Chris LaFay: That's the point.

Jared Belsky: We have these aliases for you, like the.

Chris LaFay: Like the first and the last name.

Jared Belsky: Like just so it's not like Field Girl, like more like professional. Like Fields Info or something.

Chris LaFay: Got it. Okay. So Jared, I think it opened up in a new tab that I can't see.

Jared Belsky: Okay, thank you. Here, give me one second.

Chris LaFay: Yep.

Jared Belsky: Okay, get a verification code. I guess that's me. Two more minutes. Just two seconds. It's.

Chris LaFay: You're good.

Jared Belsky: A lot of things to balance here. Okay. And describe what happens to me. Let's change the name here. Yeah, we're gonna do it in one minute. Sounds good. It's not change. Just give me one minute to explain. So, Chris, where would I see that? If we set up aliases so under

Chris LaFay: the user's pod There. Click on Manage. Top right hand corner.

Jared Belsky: Ah, here it is. Here's the funny thing. See, we did Alex at Fieldfinder AI. That's a great one. It's professional, all that stuff. But when I send a note to Alex at Field Finder, I thought I would get it. The Fields Girl 1. Is it. It's not like that. Is it that. Alex, the Field Finder is its own login. Like you have to.

Chris LaFay: They're two separate ones. Yes. Now, can you make it an alias? Yes. Do you want to make it an alias?

Jared Belsky: Not really need to, I guess. Here, Alex. Here's the challenge. There's so many. There's so many more inboxes. Like right now we have this field scroll inbox. Why not just have it all come in? I guess we can have a second one. That's fine. So is that why we have to reset password here? We don't know what this is. Never. I never wrote it down when we created it. I guess I don't even know where.

Chris LaFay: Yeah, so if you wanted to. So yeah, if you wanted to reset that, that's where. That's where you would do it.

Jared Belsky: It.

Chris LaFay: Why we either selected to create two or whether we created one together and then another one was created after that, I don't know. But you can have it as an alias if you'd like to. And that would not cost extra, whereas having two separate inboxes would cost extra. I think both of them are like six or seven bucks per month per email address, I think, because we, we. We. We put you on the starter plan for that.

Jared Belsky: Okay, well, we must have it, right? Like here. Should I sign in to see if

Chris LaFay: it's open up an in. I would open up like an incognito tab just so you don't mess up all your Google. So just Control N. Control Shift or Control Shift N. Okay, give me one minute. Or Command Shift end if you're Mac

Jared Belsky: and wait one moment. Okay, let me just try this. Alex at. Alex, you go with that, right? Field Finder. Yes. This is where all the, like, customers or whatever will email me if they have questions. Change password. Why is it asking me for that again?

Chris LaFay: Oh, why would it ask you for that?

Jared Belsky: All right, I'll just. This looks legit though, right?

Chris LaFay: That. That, That's. Yeah, that's correct. So I know sometimes when you reset. Oh, there's a. There are settings inside of Google that if an admin changes a password, think about, like, if you change somebody in Acadia's password for them, they don't want the owner of that account to know the password. So, okay, why that's the case, I don't know. But here we are.

Jared Belsky: All right, there are all the tests. Good. Okay, so good news. This works. So that's where everything will come in.

Chris LaFay: Yes. So the, when emails get sent, that's where that's going to be. That's where that's going to go. And so you can put that email on your phone, on your laptop, just like you would any other Google based account. So if you're on your phone or your laptop, whatever app you use to check your email, when you add a new account, select Google and you'll just sign in with your full email address. So it'll be alexieldfunderai as the username and then whatever the password is that you just created.

Jared Belsky: All right, hold on, let me find you now. I don't know which window you're in. Hey, we found you. Okay. All right, that was good. So we'll use that Alex at Field Finder for all the correspondence.

Chris LaFay: Yep.

Jared Belsky: This is more like a future question, but so obviously like I'm gonna, I'm gonna need to like put in like I'm gonna put in the work, put all the fields in like manually. Like I'm trying to like get to like a pretty high goal by myself so I can understand how to work it. But once that, you know, like set happens. This is like more of a future question, but do you know anything that could help? Like, I don't know, like, like a system that will just like automatically start putting it in. Almost like. Why are you smiling? Because if he knows it, it'll be a miracle.

Chris LaFay: Scraping websites for data is an extraordinarily hard thing to do because every website is created differently with different structures. And so it, the way that it would have to work is if you found, if you found a site that had a list of fields in a very organized, structured fashion to where all the fields were kind of loaded kind of in the same layouts, if you will. There are ways that you can kind of script inside of your browser to go and actually loop, like loop through all of them and grab the, the name of it and the image of it and then the description of it. If it's all right there on that one page for you. Is it a little bit simpler? Yes. Is it still manual? Yeah, but it's the part of the reason why like I don't think there's a lot of places out there that aggregate parks like this, which is part of the reason why you Wanted to create it. And so my assumption is that you're probably not going to find another website kind of like in. Not Airbnb. It's not a good example of them, but, like, maybe if you went to, like, a county parks website, you would be able to scrape off their. Their names and their addresses. But the county parks websites are probably not going to have here the number of fields, the types of fields, like, in an organized way, for you to, like, programmatically get that information out.

Jared Belsky: Okay, thank you.

Chris LaFay: Does that make sense? It's a little bit weird where I get the question all the time because we have to migrate pages, websites that have hundreds and hundreds of pages. And like, is there an automated way to do this? No.

Jared Belsky: Yeah, because I had two, like, small ones related to search. Do you. And your, your design partner and dev partner, you know, do all the things you need to do with Search Console to make it searchable and all that? You guys just do that automatically.

Chris LaFay: Webflow has some connections with Google Search Console to where, like, it's, it's going to know the site map and whatnot. And it's not. Unless you were walking in the door with a bazillion pages and also backlinks galore. Then you might get up, you know, on Google search results relatively quickly, but at the end of the day, that's not the case. So, yes, it'll be indexed appropriately, but it's going to take a. It doesn't take a long time unless you had a. I mean, you, you know, SEO, like, it's just, you got to have a strategy for that. All good.

Jared Belsky: And then with search, like, to get it discoverable on Google, it just takes time. Like, the more you write those blogs, the more. Yeah. And then for search ads, one thing we're, you know, Alex is going to do, she's going to do like a test ad account just two weeks from now. Are you, Are you able to help us put up the, you know, we'll have to put that little piece of code just on the, I guess on the lead form.

Chris LaFay: Yes. I think. Yeah. You're not like the goo, like the, the tracking codes for like, conversion tracking and stuff? Right. I. I know one of my team members, if you, if you can get us access to the account, one of my team members knows how to do that in about five seconds. Good. Okay.

Jared Belsky: What else? I think. And. And then the form is. That's all set, too. I saw the screenshot you sent email. That's good. Okay, thank you. That's good.

Chris LaFay: Not a problem at all no, that's the, this is kind of the, the simple part of wrapping up it. Both take it both takes the longest time because everybody's like we got to fix it, we got to fix it, we got to fix it. But then also launching it. The great thing about where you're at is nobody knows this exists. So whether you launch it publicly or not, until you tell people it's there, nobody. So it makes launching the site a heck of a lot easier and a lot safer, which is wonderful. So we'll go through kind of as the where do my list go? So our final things that we're going to knock out as we take it live are the form submission email content that you sent over, the hero section, vertical spacing, the two filters on the filter bar training videos. We'll make sure that the reviews thing piece is attached. Now that we have that account, we'll migrate your site from my developer's webflow account into yalls. We'll then point the domain over to the webflow site and then lastly, actually this isn't last is actually it's going to be bumped up but change the email address that that email is sent to for you to your Alex at Fieldfinders AI and at that point you'll get an email from us that says here are all your videos, your website's live. This is how to log in and take it for a run, test it out, play with it. I would rather you this is what I have found after launching websites with people is I like to let people go in, watch the video, take it for a test run and try things out. You're not going to break, you're not going to like egregiously break anything because you have one page of content in a form field for your fields. It's not, there's not a lot of stuff happening here. Poke around, play with a little bit, see what you like, see what you don't like and then you know, the next week or so when it goes live, we can then have a follow up if you have any questions or things like that.

Jared Belsky: Sounds good. Yeah.

Chris LaFay: That sound good?

Jared Belsky: Yes, thank you.

Chris LaFay: Awesome. So now that we have confirmation all this, I will talk with Andy, my developer and plan a time with him at some point in the next probably week or so is my plan. I'll be out of town a little bit later this week, so roughly a week once I get a date from him and we have a couple of hours blocked off on our mutual schedules. I'll let you know when that time is and then once that time block's done, as long as weird stuff doesn't happen, which I don't think it should, then you'll get an email from us with all the stuff.

Jared Belsky: Perfect. Thank you.

Chris LaFay: Awesome.

Jared Belsky: Thank you so much.

Chris LaFay: Anything else?

Jared Belsky: Not me, I trying to think. I think those are all my questions.

Chris LaFay: Just like I might have a couple

Jared Belsky: more emails about how to work. Maybe some things with watching the videos, but besides that. Good. I have a tiny one. Chris, me and Alex had a few minutes if we wanted to send 5 more fields. Just so this little pre launch had 10 versus 5. Just adding it to the existing sheet. Is that a problem?

Chris LaFay: I need to ask him if he manually imported all of them or if he did it dynamically through a script. I'm not 100% sure. So if he scripted it, then yes, he can go ahead and add those in before launch. If he has to do them manually one by one, then probably not, because that'll take a little bit of time.

Jared Belsky: So maybe here's my nature of the question. Oh, because the question is

Chris LaFay: right, because

Jared Belsky: it doesn't matter, or if it's easy and that's going to be part of the training and we have to learn how to do it anyway, so.

Chris LaFay: What?

Jared Belsky: Well,

Chris LaFay: I guess that's the other piece. If you only have five other ones that you've already gotten content for, I would actually hold off on them and use them as a. As a training piece. Then have to go out and find more of them to then add later.

Jared Belsky: That makes sense, actually. Okay, I can see that. Okay, thank you so much. Yeah. All right, Chris, let's talk in a bit. Thank you.

Chris LaFay: That sounds good. Have a good rest of the day. Enjoy Florida. What's by the way, what beach you guys at?

Jared Belsky: Palm Beach.

Chris LaFay: Nice. Sounds lovely. Enjoy your time. I'll catch you all later.

Jared Belsky: All right, talking. Bye, Chris. Yeah, bye.
