Lumber Rock WP Engine template build — solo dev handoff (to Andrew)

Jun 8 · 8:00 AM
Transcript 15 turns

Chris LaFay: It.

Chris LaFay: It's.

Chris LaFay: I want to go ahead and build out three page templates worth of blocks on the Lumber Rock WP engine site.

Chris LaFay: I have downloaded PDFs from Figma for these and I'm pretty sure you can build out 90% of the content blocks here with stuff that we already have at our disposal.

Chris LaFay: A couple of notes.

Chris LaFay: On the collections page you'll see three of the two column blocks that are back to back.

Chris LaFay: Those should go inside of a stackable element.

Chris LaFay: Also on the collections page you'll see a swatch block.

Chris LaFay: You could just copy the entire block so that you don't have to re add all the new stuff in.

Chris LaFay: At the bottom of the collection page you'll see a multi image gallery that we probably don't have where it says see the collection name in the wild.

Chris LaFay: The goal with the collection template is to basically use it for all the different product collections that they have.

Chris LaFay: So you'll also see some textures there that are kind of in the background.

Chris LaFay: We also have a texture background block that should float things, but it's not working entirely yet.

Chris LaFay: Do you have what you need to be able to build these out as sample templates within WP Engine?

Chris LaFay: It's.
