Meeting

Paul Carpenter - Current

Gist

Chris LaFay walked Paul Carpenter through a homepage design concept for Paul's site (branded 'plural'/Agent C), built around a vertical scrolling layout with changing imagery, retro ticket-stub styling pulled from a flyer Paul sent. Paul loved it and called it 95% there, needing only final images and small text tweaks. They agreed Chris would send the Figma comment link, Paul would gather four images and do brand-brief homework, and they'd reconvene Feb 18 for a live build/QA session, with a phase-two idea to build a 'dossier' partners page and flip the design for a dark-mode collective section.

What came out of it
Decisions4
  • Homepage design direction (vertical scroll, five sections, retro ticket-stub styling) was approved by Paul
  • Site will be built in WordPress with Paul hosting on WP Engine at his own cost
  • Chris will not do phase-two dossier/partners page work until after initial launch
  • Next working session scheduled for Wednesday, February 18th
Risks and blockers2
  • Two-week pause before development starts while Chris onboards two newly closed projects
  • Site launch depends on Paul supplying final images, which are not yet ready
Open questions2
  • What final images Paul will choose for the four homepage sections
  • How to structure a joint LinkedIn story/collaboration around the site launch

A record of what was agreed, and nothing here was scheduled. Follow-ups reach your list through unconfirmed to-dos, never straight onto it.
